ELEMENTS new all-NVMe media storage!

We can’t wait to show the prototype of our latest product: ELEMENTS all-NVMe media storage!

For the very first time we will showcase this slick 2U unit of pure and lightning-fast NVMe storage – with connectivity up to 100GbE and flexible tiering options to HDD.

ELEMENTS with StorNext 6

We’re happy to announce that ELEMENTS ONE is now also available with the latest StorNext® version!

StorNext 6 delivers an unparalleled combination of high performance and advanced data management – and some new features that will help to tune and optimize performance across all client workstations on the fly, and free up space with automated removal of file copies from different storage tiers. The FlexSync option provides the possibility to synchronize data between multiple StorNext systems in a highly manageable and automated fashion, without the need for full filesystem scans.

ELEMENTS Media Library supports R3D – super fast with GPU power

From now on, ELEMENTS Media Library makes it super-easy to work with RED’s Redcode Raw Video Image Files. Supported by the power of the GPU, proxies of R3D files can be generated automatically – in the fastest fashion possible! Simply ingest your raw RED files to the ELEMENTS storage and get to work right away!

We also have exciting news for post-production and production facilities that do more VFX-heavy projects! Our Media Library now supports FBX and OBJ formats for 3D models! Hence, 3D models can now be displayed right out of the Media Library – without the need of an external player.

Comprehensive project management – also in the cloud!

Our Media Library’s powerful feature to not only organize, (pre-)view, and comment on video assets, but share project-related assets of virtually all file types now also applies to ELEMENTS Click!

The dedicated cloud feature allows to upload audio files, stills, and even documents such as scripts, pdf’s or any kind of additional material related to the project! Keep all assets well-organized in one spot – regardless of the file format!

ELEMENTS implements artificial intelligence!

ELEMENTS Media Library just got even smarter. We have unlocked the power of artificial intelligence by implementing a multitude of recognition engines.

The new functionality enables ELEMENTS Media Library to detect faces, objects, logos and much more, and automatically add meta-tags! Even automatic speech-to-text transcriptions are possible, opening a whole new realm of possibilities to manage media files in the most intelligent and intuitive fashion.

More helpful features to simplify daily tasks

We also have developed some new features that customers have asked for!

Before-after comparisons are getting easier than ever: ELEMENTS’ new comparison mode in our media player allows to stack two images – and use a slider to sway between the before and after version seamlessly. Especially in color correction and in VFX this will be extremely helpful. Just like most of our features designed to simplify collaboration and communication during production, the slider comparison mode is accessible through ELEMENTS intuitive web-based GUI and works remotely using any device!

Another new feature allows users to set workspace bookmarks to access preferred workspaces faster with only one click.

More flexibility with increased security

After we put a lot of effort and love into it, we’re thrilled to announce that we have achieved some major improvements regarding proxy generation: First, for more flexibility in terms of the proxy quality for various platforms, you can choose between multiple resolutions. It’s also possible to add multiple audio streams to one proxy. For increased data security for confidential content, you can now add watermarks to the proxies.
