London, it’s great to be back!

After enjoying a hugely exciting and successful event last year, we’re delighted to announce that we will return to London for The Media Production and Technology Show 2023, which takes place from 10-11 May at Olympia London. Visit us at stand B60, where we’ll be ready to say hello and walk you through the world of ELEMENTS.

The Media & Entertainment industry is experiencing large-scale changes and developments, which are predominantly powered by the scope and potential of cloud computing technologies. With the ELEMENTS platform, users can seamlessly integrate the cloud and its benefits into their workflows. Furthermore, with our latest developments, you can revolutionise how you approach these new workflows.

Join our panel discussion

We’re excited to announce that our Commercial Director, Alistair Washbourn, will be part of the panel for the ‘Adopting technologies in the cloud – Cost vs Benefit and making the right choice’ discussion on 10 May at 16:45. Joining Alistair will be Keren Boyd (Research Analyst, Caretta Research) and Paul Markham (Enterprise Architect for Digital, Arqiva).

Cloud, On-Premise Storage, Workflow Tools – United Under One Platform

From the moment the idea was conceived, our ecosystem was developed and has grown into a platform that provides maximum flexibility and efficiency for the most up-to-date media workflows. Shifting rapidly from beta status to fully-fledged and ready-to-launch, we worked tirelessly behind the scenes to implement the functionality needed to offer users a straightforward and comprehensive way of working. As cloud adoption gains momentum throughout the Media & Entertainment industry, our concept of a centralized media platform is driving new creative possibilities. This ELEMENTS approach allows users to access and manage high-performance, on-premise, and cloud storage in a seamless environment. Advanced tools such as the Media Library, the ELEMENTS Client, the intuitive permissions management layer, and our powerful Automation Engine enable creative users to harness the potential of Hybrid Cloud workflows.

We are delighted to have received accreditation in technical proficiency for our cloud platform as part of the AWS partner network.

Media Library Updates

The ELEMENTS Media Library has also expanded the support for cloud services. Connecting the Media Library to the cloud lets users preview, share and collaborate on their footage as easily as if it were stored on the on-premise storage. The Media Library allows external users to upload content securely and supports complete metadata transfer (even between separate ELEMENTS systems). The recently added AAF export function will enable rough cuts to be imported into Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and many other professional applications.

An all-new File System

At this year’s MPTS, we’ll take visitors deep inside our ultramodern BeeGFS file system. This game-changing integration of the file system, which was originally designed at the renowned German Fraunhofer ITWM, was previewed by us in 2022. Having already excelled in several metrics in the SPEC SFS VDA Benchmark, we’re excited to share this file system with a wider audience at this year’s show.

BOLT Performance Update Preview

One of the fastest media storage solutions on the market, the all-NVMe ELEMENTS BOLT, will soon be even quicker. Made possible by the latest updates on the hardware platform and the introduction of PCIe 4.0, the upcoming generation of 2U BOLT chassis can deliver up to 70GB/s internal performance.

ELEMENTS Bolt Front

This ground-breaking performance, coupled with the high capacity of up to 600TB per chassis, means that BOLT can easily power the most demanding workflows, such as color grading and VFX, while eliminating the need to move files between disk and NVMe regularly. Besides its incredible performance, BOLT consumes only around a tenth of the power of comparable, disk-based shared storage devices — more effortless operation, better performance, and good for the environment.

Visit our stand to find out more about the new ELEMENTS BOLT prototype.

»Book a demo«
