ELEMENTS, developer of advanced solutions for unrestricted collaboration in shared media workflows, has announced that the Company has signed a reselling partnership agreement with ALT Systems, a well-respected, full-service systems integrator. Based in Los Angeles, CA, the media and entertainment experts will be offering ELEMENTS’ comprehensive range of exceptional SAN and NAS media storage solutions effective immediately, with the first demos to take place during NAB.

ALT Systems will showcase ELEMENTS’ field-proven range of products in the Presidential Suite on the 15th floor of the Renaissance Hotel on Paradise Road, Las Vegas. Between 10am and 6pm (Mon – Wed) interested parties can get a live demo of ELEMENTS’ major technological breakthrough concerning shared file systems and media storage that significantly enhances and simplifies collaboration in heterogeneous XSan or StorNext-based environments.

ELEMENTS ONE, the 4U all-in-one SAN/NAS server and storage solution that allows for impressive 360TB of shared storage will comprise the core of the display. Like all ELEMENTS appliances, ELEMENTS ONE features native media sharing, enabling all connected clients to access all files through a truly shared file system and storage, even embracing Avid Media Composer with full Avid bin-locking and project sharing support. ELEMENTS ONE provides a comprehensive set of workflow enhancement and management tools and features, including a sophisticated MAM (media asset management), comprehensive user management, file and task manager, and project management.

For those facilities that already have an Xsan or StorNext-based shared storage environment in place, the innovative developer offers ELEMENTS GATEWAY, a 2U gateway server that provides all the features and benefits, but without the storage. And even a mobile appliance for the use on-location is available: ELEMENTS CUBE supports up to 16 drives in a small factor chassis, providing full editing and data management capabilities on the go.
